Hundreds of Cases have been registered with the Nangarhar Justice Department within past four months
In the last four months, 450 lawsuits, including commercial, family and debt lawsuits, have been registered with the Nangarhar Justice Department, and 35 lawsuits have been filed with the department.
Registered lawsuits include 251property claims, 173 debt lawsuits, 15 commercial lawsuits and 11 family lawsuits. Of these, 125 lawsuits have been conciliated, 10 lawsuits have been submitted to the court, 60 petitions have been retained and 155 lawsuits are being processed.
Also, out of 35 legal cases sent to this department, two of them have been settled with the consent of the parties and 33 of them are under processing.
In the last four months, 13 criminal and family cases have been referred to the legal aid sub-department of the Nangarhar Justice Department and are being processed. The office provided legal advice to 42 people in various legal arenas, as well as information on Islamic law, the policy of the Islamic Emirate, and other legal issues for 371 people in this province and other parts of Jalalabad.
Officials of the Nangarhar Justice Department, led by the provincial court of appeals, have also held meetings to cooperate in resolving civil and family cases in the future.
On the other hand, the Cohesion Sub-Directorate of the Nangarhar Justice Department has reviewed dozens of offices of Real Estate Agencies, petitioners and charities and issued licenses for a number of activities. During this period, licenses for new and renewed activities have been distributed to 55 Real Estate Agencies, 128 petitioners, and four unions and charities.
This Office also monitored the activities of 170 Real Estate Agencies, 40 charities and a number of petitioners, including blocking five Real Estate Agencies and controlling 120 unlicensed petitioners.
