The Technical Committee of the Commission on Combating Trafficking in Person Convenes its Ninth Meeting

Ninth meeting of the Technical Committee on Combating Human Trafficking convened under the chairmanship of the Head of Human Rights Department of MoJ and the Secretary of the High Commission on Combating Trafficking in Persons and Migrants Smuggling.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the technical committee members of the High Commission on Combating Trafficking in Persons and Migrants Smuggling, including representatives of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crimes (UNODC), the representative of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the representative of UNICEF in Kabul.

At the meeting, the Secretary of the High Commission for Combating Trafficking in Person and Migrants Smuggling, talked about the assessment of the three-year National Action Plan (1397-1399) of the High Commission for Combating Trafficking in Persons and Migrants Smuggling. He also referred to the modality on implementation of the rest of the activities.
The participants also discussed and exchanged views on the extensiveness of the columns of the three-year National Action Plan with the inclusion of assessment, relevance, design, operative work, partnership and cooperation, impact, influence, endurance, human rights and gender, resources, budget and the scope of risks to combat human and migrants trafficking.
A detailed report of the Commission's National Action Plan on Combating Trafficking in Persons and Migrants Smuggling will be presented and discussed at the next committee meeting.
