Relinquishing Citizenship

The relinquishing of citizenship is done based on the person’s written request within limits of the provisions of the law. (The applicant submits a request to relinquish his Afghani citizenship to the embassy or permanent representatives of Afghanistan in the respective country and completes the required documents.)

Free Legal Aid

The Department of Legal Aid is one of the key departments of the Ministry of Justice. This department has two Sub-directorates (Legal Aid Sub-directorate and Public Legal Awareness Sub-directorate).
