Ministry of Justice Registers More than 200,000 Legal Complaints During Four Years of National Unity Government

Conference on evaluating activities of Ministry of Justice during four years of the National Unity Government was held by Aman Reazat with the attendance of Mohammad Omar Omarzada- Head of Provincial Department of Justice of Parwan, at the Mawlana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi Hall of Parwan University.
Officials and more than 150 students of Parwan University, mainly from Sharia and Law Faculty attended this conference.
Mr. Aman Reazat, besides thanking Mr. Sayeed Mobin Hashimi- Vice chancellor of the said university in academic affairs, and other organizers of the conference, talked about duties, responsibilities, working mechanisms, and activities of the Ministry of Justice and reaffirmed that this is very necessary that citizens especially educated people have knowledge about governmental administrations so that they are able to criticize its activities with full knowledge. Mr. Reazat added that achievements of the Ministry of Justice in legislation areas have been unprecedented during NUG period as this ministry have scrutinized and processed about 416 legislative documents. Besides, this ministry have registered and addressed more than 200,000 legal complaints. Only in the year 2018, 45 jereeb (2000 meter square) land was prevented from usurpation. Also, licenses to 72 Political parties and three thousand social organizations have been issued. Later, Mr. Reazat explained the procedure of legislation and emphasized on the role of social organizations in strengthening democracy, establishing culture of team working, making political cadres and addressing political and social problems. In the meanwhile, Sayeed Mobin Hashimi talked about the activities of Parwan University and expressed the need of learning lawmaking and its procedure, legal disputes resolution, and other related issues for students.
Also, Mr. Omar Omarzada, Provincial Head of the Parwan Justice Department, spoke about the activities of mentioned department and added that he is eager to sign a memorandum of understating with Parwan University to pave ground for the Law and Sharia Students to gain experience and enhance their capabilities.
In this conference, students posed their relevant questions, suggestions and concerns which were answered respectively. It’s worth mentioning that, Ministry of Justice deems the public awareness as its obligation and believes that this can enhance the knowledge of citizens especially students and also paves the way for deliberate critics.
