The country's media, should be careful in introducing the individuals from the addresses of social and political institutions

Kabul Afghanistan: some media of the country, introduce the individuals who claim belonging to a social association or political party as a director or one of their officials, as if they really belong to the attributed entities, without assuring as to their registration and legal recognition, while, the above claimed association or political party has neither been registered in the Ministry of Justice nor are they legally legitimate.
Since, the media is one of the most credible and important publicity channels, they can be very effective in promoting an informal and unlawful association and creating a false reputation for the people involved with that association.

The ministry of justice as the responsible entity with regard to the registration, evaluation and overlooking of all political parties and social associations, respectfully request all esteemed media to ensure about the registration and legality of the afore mentioned associations’ activities, before, introducing individuals from their addresses.
It is worth mentioning that currently 72 political parties and more than 3400 social associations have obtained activity licenses from this ministry according to the relevant laws. The list of registered political parties and social institutions, along with the reputation of its officials, is available on the website of the Ministry of Justice.
Respected media can be informed about the registration and legality of the social associations and political parties by contacting with the Ministry of Justice or via visiting the ministry’s website and be ensured regarding the accuracy of the individuals’ identities claiming to be the director or other officials of the social associations or political parties.
