Coordination meeting between the Ministry of Justice and the relevant Administrations

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan the Human Rights Support Department of the Ministry of Justice held a coordination meeting between the Ministry of Justice and the relevant administrations.

This meeting was held on Thursday February 1, 2020 under the chairmanship of Mawlawi Shukrullah Director of Human rights support of the Ministry of Justice and participation of the representatives of the related Ministries and administrations.

At this meeting Director of the Human Rights Support of the Ministry of Justice spoke on human rights from the point of view of the Sharia and the sacred religion of Islam, said that the holy religion of Islam supported the human rights since 14 hundred years. He said that it is the duty of all citizens of the country to support and respect human rights on the basis of the Islamic Sharia and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has always supported human rights based on the Sharia and the sacred religion of Islam. The meeting discussed and exchanged views on the United Nations recommendations, international agreements and conventions. It was decided that the Cabinet of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to be suggested to form a High Commission consisting of scholars, lawyers and university professors to evaluate the recommendations of the United Nations, international agreements and conventions from the perspective of the Sharia and the sacred religion of Islam. And in case the commission finds cases that contrary to the Sharia and the sacred religion of Islam, set a precondition and share it with the relevant authorities.
