The first meeting of the Commission to resolve land disputes
The first meeting of the Land Dispute Resolution Commission was held on Wednesday, March 29, 2022, chaired by the Acting Minister of Justice of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Sheikh Hadith Maulvi Sahib Abdul Hakim Sharia.
The other members of the commission were Maulvi Hamdullah Nomani, Acting Minister of Urban Development and Lands, Maulvi Shamsuddin Pahlawan, Acting Attorney General, Mufti Abdul Rashid Saeed, Chief Secretary of the Supreme Court, Maulvi Abdul Rahman Rashid, Acting Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock. , Mullah Abdul Wali, Acting Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, and Sheikh Noorulhaq Anwar, Deputy Coordinator of the Islamic Emirate's Affairs.
The members of the Commission for the Settlement of Land Disputes discussed and exchanged views on laws and procedures to prevent encroachment on public property and state lands.
The meeting also decided to prepare a comprehensive plan for resolving land disputes and submit it to the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan for approval.
The Land Dispute Resolution Commission under the guidance of His Excellency Amir al-Mominin convened an extraordinary cabinet meeting in Kandahar province, chaired by the Acting Minister of Justice of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Sheikh Hadith Maulavi Sahib Abdul Hakim Shari. Membership was created to prevent usurpation of state lands and to take action to resolve land disputes.
