Minister of Justice Accentuated upon the Expedition of Law Revision Process
Shaikh Abdul Hakim Sharei, the acting Minister of Justice of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, in a meeting with the presence of Deputy Justice Minister in Professional Affairs and other central directors of this ministry emphasized that the process of law revision in general and those laws pertinent to the daily-performances of state agencies in particular, should be accelerated.
The general meeting of Ministry of Justice on Thursday April 6th, 2022 was convened with the presence of Professional Deputy Minister of Justice, participation of other central directors of this ministry and by the chairmanship of Shaikh Alhadith Mawlawi Abdul Hakim Sharei.
At this meeting, the acting Minister of Justice appointed a committee headed by Shaikh Abdul Karim Haidar, Deputy Justice Minister in Professional Affairs and membership of general director of legislation and directors of department of educational laws, department of health and cultural laws in order to revise the laws and present the outcome of their revision.
He also underscored the expeditious initiation of directorate of defense attorneys of this ministry and appointed a committee to take exams from the applicants for defensing attorney license. This committee has been established by the chairmanship of professional deputy Minister of Justice and membership of director of defense attorneys, director of Institute of Legislative Affairs, director of department of Educational Laws and Department of Health and Cultural Laws.
The acting Minister of Justice also said that work on the registration of unions in this ministry should be expedited and at the same time, due care should be taken.
At this meeting, Mufti Fazl Hadi Sahibzada, director of Legislation of Ministry of Justice presented the reports from trips of a delegation of this ministry to Nimrowz, Zabul, Uruzgan, Kandahar, Helmand and other provinces.
The delegation from the Ministry of Justice by the chairmanship of Mufti Fazl Hadi Sahibzada, had supervised the provincial directorates of justice a few days earlier and submitted the corrective and instructional suggestions of the above mentioned provincial directorates to the meeting as well.
His Excellency Shaikh Sahib, also instructed that provincial reports should be registered in writing to the Ministry of Justice in order to be useful in the future.
