Dr. Abdul Basir Anwar, Minister of Justice Emphasized that Access of Afghans to Justice was very Importance for Durable Peace in the Country.

His Excellency, Dr. Abdul Basir Anwar, Minister of Justice, who had participated in the Conference of War-torn Countries with Fragile and Critical Situation (+G7), convened in Hague, Netherland, spoke on the matters of access to justice and its role in establishing peace, the role of justice system in strengthening social justice and acceptance of each other, prioritizing issues related to justice in the development budgets and programs, and promotion of the women’s rights.
In this conference, where the Justice Ministers of the member states of the (G7) Organization were present, issues such as challenges, priorities and programs in relation to access to justice as well as the Framework of National Development and Sectoral Plans were discussed.
The Minister of Justice in this occasion said that exploiting the experiences of other countries in providing justice services was very important and useful.
This conference was convened under the title of the Framework of Discussion on the Objectives of the Sustainable Development (SDG 16 +), hosted by the Secretariat of (G7) Organization with the cooperation of the Royal Government of Netherland, the Cooperation Sector of the Rule of Law of the South Carolina University, from 29 – 30 June, this year.
