The Director of External Relations of the Ministry of Justice met with the Director of UNAMA's Rule of Law Department

Maulvi Mohammad Sharif Jihadiyar, Director of External Relations at the Ministry of Justice of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met with Monica Martinez, Head of UNAMA's Rule of Law Unit, and the accompanying delegation in his office on Wednesday, March 23/2022 /and negotiated.

The meeting was aimed at strengthening cooperation between UNAMA and the Ministry of Justice and introducing experts and specialists to share experiences between the two institutions.

Ms. Monica Martinez, referring to the extension of UNAMA's mission in Afghanistan, reaffirmed the Foundation's continued support and said that we look forward to continued cooperation with the Ministry of Justice. She pledged that UNAMA would provide technical assistance and assistance in the areas of legislation, legal aid and capacity building for Ministry of Justice staff.
