Completion of 15th Round of Foundational Legal Trainings

The 15th round of foundational legal trainings conducted for the professional members of Kabul Huqoq department and a number of provinces has been successfully completed.
This training was conducted by Ministry of Justice and Financed by the ADALAT project from 20th February, 2021 to 18th March 24, 2021 in Kabul and 29 persons from professional members of Kabul Hoquq department, Kapisa, Kunar, Ghazni, Maidan Wardak, Nangarhar and Paktia were participated in the said training.
In this program, the foundational subject matters such as family rights, inheritance rights, property rights, debts and obligations, agreements, contracts, commercial rights, mediation and the work procedures of Huqoq departments were taught to the participants in academic and practical manners.

On the final day of this program, the Director General of Huqoq of the Ministry of Justice discussed the progress and reform plans and added that the problems of Huqoq departments in the area of cooperation of the courts have been sent to the Judiciary.
He also gave information on the initiatives of the Ministry of Justice regarding the safety of staff members of Huqoq Departments and State Cases and their salaries and benefits and emphasized that these are the priorities of leadership of the Ministry of Justice.
Referring to the place of Huqoq departments in the country’s justice sector, the Director General of Huqoq of the Ministry of Justice stressed the role of these departments in resolving legal disputes and reducing the density of the cases in the courts.
