The Acting Minister of Justice met with a representative of the Chinese Embassy in Kabul
Acting Minister of Justice of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Sheikh Mawlawi Abdul Hakim met with advisor of Minister and representative of Chinese Embassy, Mr. Ding and Mr. Huang Zongwang; during the meeting, discussions were held on the development and strengthening of relations between the two countries.
The Minister reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening bilateral ties, adding that, "throughout history, we have treated China as a good neighbor."
Excellency Minister said: "We appreciate all your help and we also value your good intentions more than your projects. I personally, on behalf of the Islamic Emirate and the entire Afghan people, completely assure you that we will continue to speak out." We demonstrate in action and will always remain committed to our commitments.
On the other hand, the representative of the Chinese ambassador said, "We see Afghanistan as a great country that has gained independence from foreign occupation. After 100 years, it will become a great country and we will treat as a brother country." 72 years ago of today, in 1949, we faced a major economic crisis, so it was Afghanistan that helped us and stood on our feet, we do not forget that; now, Afghanistan is faced with economic problems. So, we want to assist to stand on its feet.
Mr. Ding said that the new Afghan government is honor and proud, adding that it is time for the country and its people to stand on their own feet, focus would be on economic issues and related to it, China is committed to helping. They added that a flight of 10 tone of Jalghoza (pine nut) would soon leave to China and that would be good news and achievement for Afghan farmers.
"We are glad that with this government, security in this country has improved more than ever before. You know that security plays a big role in bilateral relations; so, it will have a positive effect on our relations. After this, not only China, however also businessmen from other parts of the world will be interested in investing in the country." he said
Over the course of the meeting, Excellency Minister formed a four-member professional delegation and introduced them to assist the implementation of projects in the Ministry's yard.
Mr. Ding said: "We will continue to develop bilateral relations and these are small projects that we offer to our friendly country.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides thanked each other and made a commitment to maintain good bilateral relations.
