Acting Minister of Justice Meets with Head of Rule of Law UNAMA

Esteemed Qazawatpooh, Fazil Ahmad Manawi, nominee and acting Minister of Justice, met with Romana Schweiger, Head of Rule of Law of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA).

This introductory meeting took place today, Thursday, 01st October, during which the Head of the UNAMA Rule of Law, provided information on the cooperation of RoL in the field of legislation with the Ministry of Justice and reiterated their pledged for further cooperation with this ministry.

The Acting Minister of Justice appreciated the previous cooperation of UNAMA in the field of legislation with this Ministry, and asked for more cooperation in the capacity building arena for the employees of the Ministry of Justice.

The UNAMA has been cooperating with the Ministry of Justice in the legislation area since 2007.
