Ministry of Justice Prevents Infringements in Obtainment of More than 21 million Afghanis during First Six Months of Fiscal Year 1399
Directorate of Internal Audit of the Ministry of Justice during the first six months of fiscal year 2020 (1399) has prevented by inspecting 13 central and provincial departments of this ministry the infringements in obtainment of more than 21 million Afghanis.
Directorate Internal Audit of the Ministry of Justice is in-charge to audit all departments of this Ministry at least once a year in the center and provinces; At the same time, it is responsible to implement the extraordinary orders of the Minister to make an objective and ongoing control of the activities of relevant departments.
This directorate within the first six months of the current fiscal year, audited the relevant departments of the Ministry of Justice in 11 provinces and of two central directorates of this Ministry by means of objective and ongoing controls.
During this period, the representations of political parties in these 11 provinces, which have been registered in the Ministry of Justice, have been monitored and observed and its report has been submitted to the relevant authorities. It is to be noted that this directorate has also conducted 10 more audits based on the extraordinary orders of the Minister of Justice.
As a result of these, violations in not obtaining the amount of 20 million 817 thousand and 304 Afghanis the fee of court decisions and One tenth Huqoq fee, concessionaire fee, renewal fee of property dealers and petition writers, and the amount of 578,035 Afghanis in cash violations have been prevented. Furthermore 59 cases of inventory violations have also been prevented.
Moreover, the amount of 16,865 Afghanis has been reversed and recovered by correcting the daily service allowance invoices of the employees of the Ministry of Justice.
During these audits, 242 cases of administrative violations, 438 cases of professional violations and 8 cases of violation in temporary recruitments have been discovered; as a result, 22 individuals have advised, 4 have been warned and 243 have been guided.
It is to be noted that the auditors of the Internal audit Department of the Ministry of Justice, during last year's audit identified about 1452 defects and shortcomings, out of which, 458 cases have been resolved and efforts are made to resolve the rest of them.
Directorate of Internal Audit of the Ministry of Justice, has also reviewed and monitored the implementation of the decrees and orders of President Office and the status of environmental protection in relevant central and provincial departments. This directorate also addresses the problems faced by the people by means of disseminating notices and inspecting complaint boxes in the center and the provinces.
